REDNESDAY - Crochet meets Felt

A very belated REDNESDAY entry....but then again, we still have some 12 minutes of wednesday left her in Spain..... This weeks entry is a co-production with my dear friend Erica. Together we have set up a Facebook fanpage, called Crochet meets Felt. We inspire each other so much, it was the logic thing to do, working together. Erica made the lucky pepper, isn't it adorable? I made these old fashioned potholders from a pattern my mum gave me....must be at least 30 years old! But by using fresh colours they fit perfectly in a red-lovers-kichen.

REDNESDAY-Babouskas

It's REDNESDAY again! And here's my entrance for this week: The red one was my first handmade babouska ever and it's so much fun that I immediately made her a friend! And although she's not RED, I figured she could come along today...

Leftovers

Als ik een scrapproject klaar heb, ligt mijn bureau meestal bezaaid met papiertjes, inktblokjes, bloemen, knopen etc. allemaal bij elkaar passend omdat ik dat zo uitgezocht heb bij m'n project. Dus als ik dan ga zitten om de boel weer op te ruimen, komen er meestal vanzelf weer nieuwe ideeen met dezelfde materialen, die dan toch al zo mooi klaar liggen....

REDNESDAY - Koekpot & hartjes

Op het gezellige blog van Elly, wat zou ik bij haar graag eens echt binnen kijken...., was ik REDNESDAY al eens tegengekomen en omdat ik merk dat ik steeds meer rood in huis krijg, lijkt het me leuk daar eens aan mee te gaan doen. Mijn "roodmanie" is denk ik een beetje aangezwengeld door JUUT, die al veel langer helemaal weg is van rood... en het is besmettelijk geloof ik! In tegenstelling tot de initiatiefneemster van rednesday, Sue, wil ik proberen iedere woensdag iets roods te plaatsen dat ik zelf gemaakt heb en nog niet gepost op m'n blog, dit is m'n eerste bijdrage: De koekpot was eigenlijk nog uit m'n "kerstcollectie", maar was pas in februari af. De hartjes zijn natuurlijk geinspireerd door Valentijn. De tutorial om ze te haken is een you tube filmpje van Teresa.

On Elly's cosy blog, how I would love to have a real look into her house..., I learned about REDNESDAY and since I'm starting to have more and more reds in my home, I thought it would be fun to join. My love for reds was stimulated by JUUT, who has been a redlover for a long time...and I think it's contagious! Maybe unlike the host of rednesday, Sue, I would like to share every wednesday something red that I actually made myself and haven't posted yet on my blog.
This weeks entry is a cookiejar, for which I made a crochet coat with hearts and a heart on the lid. It was supposed to be part of my "christmas collection", but I didn't finish it until february. The hearts are of course inspired by Valentinesday. The tutorial for them is from a you tube entry by Teresa.
